Hi! I’m Irene – a wife, mom of 3, health coach and Registered Dietitian. After struggling with a negative voice and mindset for over 15 years, my life was turned upside down with one phone call. The stars aligned, and I was chosen to have my my weight loss journey followed on The Today Show. Little did I know, this would be the beginning of a journey that I never expected it to be. Yes, I lost 30 pounds and 20 inches in the first 3 months, but what I really got from it was a new perspective on life, a new mindset, and a new dream to chase. For the first time in my life, I can feel happy without having my negative voice stop me. After learning different tools and methods for making this change for good, all I want to do is help others find their inner peace + happiness, too. My mission is to help you find the inspiration, motivation + guidance you need to stop surviving and start thriving.

Your future is the consequences of the choices you're making right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We make so many choices every single day. We make so many, that they often seem insignificant, but the reality is - they are all adding up to the big picture. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's so weird, because as much as we belittle ourselves and feed into our self-negativity, we also go really easy on ourselves...do you know what I mean? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Like, we give ourselves a "break" when we don't need a break. We NEED to keep our promises to ourselves. We NEED to make choices that make us feel good, and that build our confidence and productivity. We NEED to make choices that move us towards our goals. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you're half-assing your life, I need you to be really honest with yourself and decide that you'll make different choices. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Set goals. Create a vision. Remind yourself every single day. Think about it before every single choice you make. One day, you'll turn around and have that jaw-dropping a-ha moment when you realize how much it all added up. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Live your life intentionally, instead of letting your life run you down. You deserve it.
They love snuggling up together in their towels under the covers after a bath. Parenting is so freaking hard, but this sweet stuff is what it’s all about. Trying to soak it all up while simultaneously not losing my mind 😂
It's like we have beer goggles on. When you're fueling yourself wrong and it's making you feel like crap, you see yourself differently in the mirror. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The way you feel in your body affects your mind and your mood. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you FEEL good in your body, it doesn't mean you weigh a certain number or wear a certain size - it just means you FEEL good - it's much easier to have a good mindset and positive outlook. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Think about it like this...let's say you have back pain. You have this lower back pain that comes and goes, but when it comes it's so uncomfortable. It's SO HARD to be in a good mood when you're in pain. It's so hard to try to look at the positive side of things when you can only focus on how much it hurts. It's the same when we feel bloated and uncomfortable in our skin all the time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ With a shirt on, you wouldn't be able to notice the differences in these pics, but I FEEL tremendously better after resetting my nutrition and mentality over the last 3 days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It doesn't have to take a long time. It doesn't have to be complicated. All you have to do is learn how to focus on the right things and put your effort where it counts. 😘😘
Time for a reset. I've taken the last 3 days to S L O W D O W N and refresh it all: body and mind. Yoga, supplements, veggies, healthy fats and fruit is all that's been on the menu for me and it feels SO DANG GOOD. This month is so hectic - there's always so many places to go and endless to do lists, family visiting or vacation, etc etc etc ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Last year was the first year I went through the holiday season sticking to my goals...and there is only one reason I was able to do that: I finally learned balance. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I didn't feel bad for having drinks at that party. I didn't give up after eating a brownie or getting off track. I didn't use any tiny misstep as an excuse to "quit until January". ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's not a job. You don't just quit and try again when you feel like it. We have one body. We have one life. We have one chance to get this thing as right as we can. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Quitting just prolongs the misery. Quitting just worsens your mindset & belief in yourself. Quitting just wastes time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Pick yourself back up. Slow down if you need to. Reset. Make new goals. Listen to your personal development. But whatever you do, don't you go quitting on yourself. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I'm def gonna be running a small group to do this refresh with me in Jan, let me know if you want in. I'll be sharing my physical results tomorrow, but so far I already feel less bloated and more mentally clear - it's the besttt way to start off the year right. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ xoxo

I don't want you to change. I want you to remember who you are. Deep down, to your soul - who you are. Maybe you don't even know who that person is yet. Maybe you've had glimpses of her before, but she hasn't been out in a while. Maybe you know exactly who she is, and you just need some help finding her again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The things that need to change are the way you talk to her. The way you believe in her. The way you support her. The way you push her out of her comfort zone and into the light. The way you allow her to be unapologetically her, no matter what. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You may see her in hysterical laughter that makes you pee a little. You may hear her singing at the top of her lungs in the car. You may feel her vibrating your chest to come out, if you just sit down and breathe deeply for a minute. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She's there, and you know what she needs really badly right now? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ She needs the fearful you to take a leap of faith. She needs the anxious you to quiet your worries and let go. She needs the depressed you to make one small decision to look for her. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Slowly, she'll rise to the occasion and it won't be hard anymore to live as her. It will be the easiest thing you've ever done, because you will finally be home. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Let's go get her, mama. I want to meet her ❤️
