Everything worthwhile takes time. You’re not going to lose all of the weight you wanna lose in 5 days. You’re not going to change the habits you’ve created over the last 10, 20, 30 years in 2 weeks. You’re not going to start your own business and make millions in a month (or 2, or 20 even). BUT. If you start making the small changes now + you start doing them consistently, where do you think you could be in 6 months? In a year?
I always was impatient with everything, my whole life I’ve been that way – but I have learned through this journey + all the personal development books I’ve been reading that it’s the little things that add up to make huge changes. We just have to do them, consistently + it WILL happen.
Money is always so stressful, I feel like in your 30s everyone starts to freak the f out because money is tight + that makes everything scary + hard. I’ve started 2 businesses now – I’m working in real estate + as a coach + I still get caught up in the stress of it all sometimes – but then I stop + put it into perspective.
December showed me something kinda crazy. Both businesses made the same amount of money last month. For that, I am so grateful + inspired to keep going because i know that continuing to put in the work is what will make me successful. No, I’m not a millionaire, yes, I still have debts, but month over month growth in my coaching business? I’ll take that any day, especially when it allows me to be home with my kids ALL.THE.TIME and it means that everyday I continue to show up for myself + for you, it will turn it to everything I need it to be + more.
ALSO – something I’ve been thinking about lately is the difference in my 2 businesses. As a Realtor, I leave the house to go on appointments, showings, host open houses, meet with clients, attend inspections, walk-throughs, closings – it’s a good amount of time away from home, meaning I need coverage for my kids (and to put something on other than yoga pants – HA!). But seriously – on the other end of the spectrum, I have coaching – I work from my couch, at home, with my kids – I can go to all my kids pre-school activities, I can play with them, and yell at them, and be the one who is raising them – while I work on building a business that is going to continue to grow to a point where I can support us all, pay off our debts, and live a life I always envisioned I could. FROM MY HOUSE. Using pockets of time between naps, pickups, errands, chores – I can run a business that will eventually support my family of 5.
Let’s not forget, that helping people take control back of their lives and become the best versions of themselves is what I get to be surrounded by every single day. I mean – what did I do to deserve this life? I don’t know – but I’m sure as hell not going to let this opportunity pass me by. I’m in it for the long haul – I’m setting down the foundation to make this business all that it can be, and I’m ready to help you come right along with me.
I’m inviting you to join me, Calie + the other girls on our team to a virtual happy hour Wednesday night (1.9) at 6pm PST/9pm EST.
